What I learned Freelancing

I’ve been full-time freelancing for a year now and I’ve learned quite a few tips and tricks during that time.

Contracts, Contracts, Contracts

No matter what type of project you’re doing make sure you have something in writing that outlines the expectations and payment plans at the very least. This will save you a lot of headaches and make sure everyone is on the same page.

Even if it’s something small just make sure you outline defines what is expected on both ends.

Plan Your Time

I have found planning out your week in advance helps with productivity and eliminates forgetting anything in your schedule. This also helps make sure you get all your projects for the week completed especially when you have multiple clients in your queue.
